Mental Health Therapy in Waukesha & Milwaukee Counties
For women who are ready to say goodbye to diet culture, let go of perfectionism and lean into self-kindness.
You're ready to move beyond surviving and start truly living.
Maybe you're tired of spending so much mental energy on food thoughts, body worries, and what everyone else thinks.
You've tried managing your anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing on your own - but you keep falling back into the same old patterns.
You deserve more than just getting through each day.
My Specialties
-
Therapy for Disordered Eating and Body Image
Ease the exhausting battle with food and your body. We'll work toward genuine peace and self-acceptance.
You'll learn to trust your body's wisdom again, understand how diet culture hijacked your relationship with food, and discover what it feels like to nourish yourself with kindness instead of rules.
-
Therapy for Stress, Anxiety, and Trauma
Move from constant overwhelm to actually feeling calm and grounded.
We'll process experiences that are still affecting you today, build tools to regulate your nervous system, and help you understand how trauma changed your brain (and why that's not your fault).
-
Therapy for Highly Sensitive People
Embrace your sensitivity as a gift while learning to feel more grounded in a busy world.
You'll discover how to honor your deep sensitivity without feeling overwhelmed by everything around you, set boundaries that actually work, and find your place in a world that often feels like too much.
How we’ll work together.
We'll use approaches that help you actually feel different and create lasting change from the inside out.
What you can expect:
I'll meet you exactly where you are, without judgement.
We'll go at your pace - no rushing, no pushing
You'll learn the "why" behind your struggles so shame can finally start to lift
I'll hold you accountable while rooting for you the whole way
We'll use experiential exercises that help you turn toward your unique inner experience, so you can feel more connected to yourself, others and the world around you.
My approach combines research-backed methods tailored to meet your unique needs.
-
Instead of fighting difficult thoughts and emotions, you'll learn to make space for them while focusing on what truly matters to you.
-
Learn practical skills for regulating intense emotions, managing stress, and responding with balance instead of reacting from urgency.
-
When words aren't enough, we'll use your mind-body connection to gently process trauma at a deeper level.
-
You'll get to know and care for all the different parts of you - the protective parts, the wounded parts, the authentic parts - with compassion and understanding.
-
Find your way back to trusting yourself around food, nourishing yourself with kindness, and freedom from diet culture shame.
